Emi is now a black belt in BJJ and has been a staple of Deep Jewels fighting an impressive list of fighters.

Pre-Fight Comments:
“I am very pleased to make my debut for Rizin against Rena, one of their top stars, on such a wonderful stage. Because of Corona, there was a period of time where I couldn’t train, so I was like an auntie just listening to heavy metal and watching Korean dramas, but recently I’ve been able to practice my beloved BJJ and do some weight training. Having watched Rena, I will need to be careful of her power and aggression. This fight is heavier than I normally fight, so I would like show the gains I have made via weight training, without getting caught.
Amongst Rizin’s girls is my junior, Kanna-chan, but I will show everyone that there is also a middle aged woman at our gym, I will fight to fascinate/entertain you.
I don’t want to leave you with an ordinary memory (lol) so even though I’m old, I am going to put a lot of effort into daily skin-care so that it will match Rena’s when we go into the fight! I will fight in a way to show people that age is just a number!!! Of course I want to feel that way myself!! I will stop drinking from today!!! I’m really looking forward to September 27th!”
Keys to Victory:
Emi’s key to victory is grappling. While it is true that Rena has been training at AACC for a couple years now, she is no way near being a black belt. Emi needs to avoid the strikes of Rena and take the fight to the mat.
