Deep Results

Deep held events over the weekend, so there was a ton of action. On Saturday, they held back to back shows. These two events were primarily comprised of up and coming prospects and amateurs. It is worth noting that Istuki Hirata’s brother, Naoki, and Seika Izawa’s two brothers, Kazuto and Fuga, all fought and lost over the weekend. On Sunday, the Deep show was after the Deep Jewels show. Unlike the previous day, the Sunday event was comprised of established fighters or those that already have a following. The main event went to a technical decision because of an inadvertent low blow that rendered Yoneda unable to continue. He was actually carried out of the cage on a stretcher by Yushi Okami and Shinya Aoki.
