Fighters Turned Youtubers

It is no secret that nowadays people on Youtube can earn substantial income if they get enough views. It would appear that in an effort to build their brand and bring in supplemental income, a number of Japanese fighters have turned to the platform and in this article I am going to break down some of the more popular channels. Without a doubt, the most successful of the bunch is Mikuru Asakura, the only Japanese fighter with over 1 million subscribers to his channel. His popularity can also be seen in that in when he collaborates with other fighters on their channels, that video becomes the most viewed video on their channel. Most of the channels have a playful tone, with Kai dressing up as a nerd and approaching people on the street, Mikuru playing cops and robbers with his friends, Kanna tricking Mikuru’s friend into eating chocolate filled with hot sauce, Shizuka stalking Ayaka on the way to the gym, and Kenji seeing if anyone can hurt his giant student with body punches. Overall, the channels are producing good content for those who wish to see more of their favorite fighters.
